Team India outclassed all other teams participating in the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) competition in Guadalajara, Mexico. With nine medals in its kitty, this is the first time the country has topped the list.
The haul included four gold, one silver and four bronze

March 11 was the concluding day of the World Cup with three Indians in the Men’s Skeet competition. But they failed to grab the opportunity. Smit Singh shot 116, to finish at the 15th spot, Angad Bajwa shot 115 to finish 18th while Sheeraz Sheikh secured the 30th spot with 112.

Last count: Akhil Sheoran clinched the gold medal in men’s 50m rifle. He joined the likes of Shahzar Rizvi, Manu Bhaker, Mehuli Ghosh and Anjum Moudgil who had put India on top of the medals' tally with their performances.

Earlier, pistol shooter 16-year-old Manu Bhaker won two gold medals in the Women’s 10m Pistol and the 10m Pistol Mixed Team event, PTI reported.
